My son was in high school when he learned the word “plethora” and for a year or so he used it whenever he could. “Plethora” came to mind last Wednesday as we gathered our projects together to photograph and price. Maybe we didn’t get an excessive amount of new items, but as you will see there are more than usual!
This quilt with its red and white pinwheel groups reminds me of peppermints..and peppermint is Christmas candy! The green print used in the background has a touch of gold adding to the festive feeling. The quilt is machine quilted in a snowflake pattern and the binding is hand sewn. The 58″ x 58″ quilt would look great on the end of a bed or over your sofa. $150
The perfect holiday wall hanging! This St. Nick panel in the traditional colors is machine quilted with a candy cane and holly leaf motif. It measures 25″ x 36″ and can brighten your home for $50.
No batting was used between the pieced top and the fleece back. Thus is it very “cuddly”. The machine quilting is a snow theme which is just right for these snow people. It is a large lap or throw–52″ x 70″. The binding is machine stitched. I can’t wait for our first snow—but since today is the first day of Fall, I have a wait. $125
The perfect batiks were used for the appliquéd poinsettias and holly leaves seen on this table runner. The custom quilting enhances the design. This for those of us who like “minimalist” holiday decor.
This understated holiday print was used as the backing. I didn’t get the size but would fit a long dining table. (I will post them later-)
Halloween is just around the corner–
Please excuse my photography –I promise you it is a perfect rectangle. .. 13″ x 40″. The backing which was also used for the binding is black and white spider web print. These prints are a new line. $40
Another Halloween throw hanging from the banister! The throw is 45″ x 48″ and is machine quilted and the binding is also machine sewn. The back is a solid grey. $60
Vintage looking planes, trains, trikes, wagons and firetrucks are repeated over and over on this 49″ x 49″ quilt…perfect for a child’s bed. The quilting mimics the over all print. $60
The saturated colors in the focus print were repeated in the star pattern for a striking table runner. It measures 18″ x 49″ and would be perfect for all year around. $40
A-tisket, a-tasket, an Easter basket. A table topper or small wall hanging featuring Easter eggs and bunny prints and colors is 20″ x 20″. $35
The use of black makes all the colors pop. This 18″ x 55″ table runner is made by combining 12 string blocks. These fabrics are designed by Kaffe Fassett, known for his strong colors and bold prints.
The machine quilting is with a variegated thread in a contemporary pattern. $40
A play quilt is made from recycled denim on one side and a juvenile flannel print on the other. This is a quilt you would keep in the car or take to a soccer game for the young siblings to play on while older brother or sister played. 39″ x 48″. $40
The perfect set of placemats for a barbecue or chuck wagon dinner. Pockets from jeans were used to hold bandanna napkins. They measure 13″ x 19″ and the set of four is $40
Feel very environmentally responsible using these bags–each of the padded bags are make with recycled denim. They could be used over and over and save using plastic. Each one is $15—and I can’t get them to post top side up–ugh!
Another set of lined bags–strong enough to carry the heaviest groceries or books. $15 each
