And they just keep getting better!

Wednesday we sorted, moved, re-labeled and debated all our projects that we had collected over the year getting ready for the sale. Plus we received several new things! My life is full at present–house guests, a new car and life—so I will just show you the new items!

With out further ado–

This 14″ x 52″ pieced table runner is machine quilted in a cross hatch pattern. The binding is hand sewn. The backing is a solid green. $45

This table runner makes me think of misty crisp fall mornings, but it would look great any time of the year on your table. Machine quilted and hand bound. 14″ x 40″. $40

A very simple poinsettia print table runner. The backing is a light beige snowflake print. (It truly is an even rectangle!). The binding is a hand sewn in a red batik. $35

Lined with a box bottom and sturdy handles–it would be perfect for lots of shopping or traveling. $25

Are they spools or bow ties? These rich color catches your attention immediately! The machine quilting is a contemporary pattern of sharp angles. Many of the prints used are Kaffe Fassett. 60″ x 82″. $225

This is a show stopper–over sized queen and hand-quilted! I watched the hand-quilters spend hours bent over the frame slowly and precisely stitching the three layers together. There is something very special about a hand quilted quilt–they become “pass-downs” in your family. $450

This stack of pumpkins on your front door would bring a smile on your “trick or treaters” faces or your guests for Thanksgiving. Machine appliquéd and quilted it is 12.5″ x 40.5″ and $50.

Floral prints of spring flowers give this 58″ x 72″ lap quilt a fresh feel. It is machine quilted in a soft curvy pattern that compliments the feminine look. $225

A “ducky” quilt in soft flannel is tied making it extra cuddly. You even get the rubber ducky for the bath tub! $75

A free form patchwork in strong reds, navy and nautical prints. It is tied and hand bound. I might say it is “masculine” but I know some little girls who would love this on their bed. $75

Mr. Scarecrow is taking a break from his summer duties and enjoying the cool breezes of autumn. The machine quilting is a simple cross hatch that won’t compete with the machine appliqué or piecing. We will add a hanging sleeve if you want one. 38″ x 38″. $200

This purple/grey quilt has the Power Cat and the older versions of Willie the Wildcat–perfect for any true Kansas State fan–and look at the machine quilting–cat paws! This quilt is great for a high senior planning on going to KSU, a KSU graduate getting ready to enter the work force or a “senior” fan who uses lap quilts to be cozy watching the game on TV. 64″ x 84″. $225

And Peggy did not forget the golfers—

The focus prints are a mixture of golf prints and plaids and argyle prints that would be found on a course in Scotland. The over all design is precisely pieced. Know a golfer who would be thrilled to receive this for Christmas? 53″ x 64″. $225

Any thing shown in this post may be purchased immediately–just contact me. But if they haven’t found their home by Wednesday, you can admire them at the annual Quilt Etc. Sale this Thursday, Friday and Saturday!
